Maggie Grace is an American actress who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series, and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington in Ohio, dropped out of high school, and relocating to Los Angeles after her divorced parents. She landed her debut role, as Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001, despite having a difficult time with finances. In 2002, she was nominated for an Young Artist Award with her character as a 15 year old murdered Martha Moxley. In 2004 Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost in which she acted as a principal character for the initial two seasons. She was also awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace quit the show in 2005 to pursue an even more prominent role in movies, and had a role in the film Taken alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. The role she played was Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken the year 2008) on Suburban Girl as well as the Jane Austen Book Club. The same character was played by Grace as Kim Mills in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace was back on the Lost series for the last two episodes playing Shannon. Grace appeared on Californication's 6th season that aired between 2013 and the year 2014. She plays Faith an actress in a group and as her muse to the stars, who catches the attention of Hank Moody played by David Duchovny. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Gyllenhaal is a part of the family, and is the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. She started her acting career in the teen years with minor roles in several of the films of her father and starred alongside her brother in the famous cult classic Donnie Darko (2001). Her subsequent roles included Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind which was released in 2002 as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal has received acclaim from critics for her performances as the lead in the romantic erotic comedy drama Secretary (2002) as well as the dramatic Sherrybaby (2006) each of which brought her an Golden Globe Award nomination. Her fame grew for her role as Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008) due to the success of several commercials she appeared in in 2006. The film was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Rachel Dawes in Crazy Heart, (2009). In the following years, she appeared in comedy and dramas Nanny McPhee as well as the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Will Not Back Down (2012). Her other roles include a Secret Service agent in the action thriller White House Down (2013) and a musician in the film Frank (2014) and The title role in the drama The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal composed and directed her first film, The Lost Daughter in 2021. The psychological drama won Best Screenplay Award from the Venice International Film Festival. The film was also nominated for be awarded the Academy Award of Best Adapted Screenplay.
