Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born on 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. Bea was on the show with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea is a popular Irish actress writer and comedian. After appearing in bit parts in several Irish and British TV shows from 2009, Bea began her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. The year 2012 saw her begin appearing on a variety of sitcoms and sketch shows. In 2012, after she was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA), she started to appear often in various panel programs. Between 2016 and 2017, she served as a captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats and is a frequent contestant in the show's sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan, she was blessed with one sister named Sinead. In 2012 she was the first woman ever to win the So You Think You Are Funny Award. Her surname is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born April 16, 1984, in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian died at age three. He was a horse vet. Bea wasn't told the details of how he passed to death until she was 13 years old. To honor the man she loved, Bea chose the stage name Bea and in 2017, wrote an article about suicides that affected the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea (and her sister Sinead) was raised within the home of Helen Moloney who was a educator and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. They were both passionate about racing, horses and the racing industry. Bea was a child a Tour Guide for the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she didn't want the racing industry. She was more interested in the artistic arts.
